                                                           Did You Know? 

Deuteronomy 23: 25, allowed you to go into your neighbor's cornfield and pluck the ears of corn by hand, but you could not cut the stalks.  Jesus' disciples were hungry in Matthew 12: 1, and as they went through the field, they begin to pluck heads of grain and eat.

In Biblical times, shepherds would form a sheep pen with one entrance.  The shepherd would lay at the entrance and become the door to the sheep pen.  In John 10: 9, Jesus declares that He is the Door.  Jesus is at the entrance to protect us from the enemy and to send us to abundant life.
